Our Good Friday Service is held at the Granite Rocks Reserve at 8:45am. The first reading starts at the bottom of the hill before we take turns carrying the Cross up the hill to Granite Rocks. The remainder of the short service is held under the shadow of Granite Rocks. Afterwards we share in brunch together. All are welcome!
Please seek to arrive early to park cars & walk back down the hill to where we begin at 8:45am. The walk is up a sandy, dirt track with a slight incline and takes around 15mins. It is not overly strenuous but may be unsuitable for wheel chairs & walkers. Individuals with wheel chairs & walkers will be able to participate in all other parts of the service if they decide the walk is not suitable.
This service will be outside regardless of poor weather (light rain, wind, cold, etc) however in the event of extreme weather it will be shifted to the Granite Community Church building.
We hope to can come and join us in reflecting and worship our crucified Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, this Good Friday.
